Tour the Texas Medical Center’s Innovation Institute (TMCx) to get an inside view of the accelerator and incubator space. TMCx couples the resources of the world’s largest medical center with the innovative spark of entrepreneurs. We facilitate the development of early-stage digital health and medical device companies and, unlike most accelerators, we do not charge membership fees or require equity from our companies.
A component of the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute, TMCx+ is tailored to assist companies in advancing their technologies by validating them across the various domains of medical enterprise. TMCx+ provides the resources, office space, and a recombinant research environment.

The Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen (OEDK) provides a space for undergraduate students majoring in bioengineering, chemical and biomolecular engineering, civil and environmental engineering, computational and applied mathematics, computer science, electrical and computer engineering, materials science and nanoengineering, mechanical engineering and statistics to design, prototype and deploy solutions to real-world engineering challenges. To create the full circle of real-world experience that has societal impact, interdisciplinary teams tackle problems proposed by industry and partners in the Texas Medical Center and abroad.
